Design and Construction
At Oldfields we have a professional team that can carry out or arrange a full design and construction service for all subdivision requirements.
We have the latest civil and surveying software along with the necessary field equipment to carry out the full design process.
The services provided can include: 
- roading and services design to meet NZS 4404
- designs to meet Local Authority requirements
- resource Management Act considerations
- liaison with other service providers
- full construction service for all roading and services
Using our in-house computer aided survey and engineering software, plans, layouts, detailed excavation and fill requirements can be prepared. Sophisticated modelling software allows clients to "drive along" subdivision roading and access way before any work commences.
Drainage
Oldfields can design and construct the drainage, channeling, and kerbing requirements required 
for subdivisions.

Earth and Site Works
Oldfields has the equipment and resources to carry out a wide range of earthworks and site preparation. A large transporter is available for heavy or over dimension haulage. This unit is used to transport our equipment to the working sites as well as for contracted haulage. A truck and trailer unit is also available for bulk haulage.
Oldfields earthmoving and site works services include;
- stockwater and irrigation dam construction
- dam clearing and repairs
- farm drainage and access track construction
- flood protection works - river alignment and stopbank construction
- building and construction of site excavations
- civil construction works
- roading, irrigation and water supply projects
- tree clearing and stump removal
The mobile crusher gives Oldfields much greater flexibility. Screening and crushing of aggregates can occur on site, or at a closer Oldfields site to reduce costs. The most common usages are screening or crushing paddock boulders or river gravel into roading aggregate of various grades and the screening of lime and other materials at private sites.
These services are available to complement our clients own resources as well as to provide additional independent support to a project
Services Provisioning
Oldfields provide full liaison with other service providers (e.g. Telecom and power supply authorities) for the provision of services within subdivisions. We can provide or arrange:
- quotes and estimates for the supply of the services
- co-ordination between different service providers
- carry out the civil works necessary for the installation of the services
Ready Mix Concrete
Oldfield Ready Mix Ltd is a member of New Zealand Ready Mix Concrete Association and a 
Certified Special Grade Concrete Supplier. The NZRMCA exists to ensure that its members produce high quality concrete for their customers. Oldfields are experts in providing customers with their specific concrete requirements. Our products are quality tested to ensure maximum performance.
We offer the commercial industries different grades of concrete for different applications ranging from 10MPa through to 50MPa and any special pump mix.

Concrete Pumps - Oldfield Ready Mix can arrange for a Concrete Pump to be on site if access is difficult or the area being concreted is large.
